Did you know that you are beautiful? And did you know that you are called to enhance the beauty of the world around you?

This is what the Bible teaches us. It often does so by using the Hebrew words kavod or tipharah, generally translated ‘glory’. In English, glory is generally associated with admiration, fame, prestige, pride and kudos. But in Hebrew, the two words are closely associated with beauty, majesty and weight. Human beings, in other words, are beautiful and are called to bring out more of the beauty that is inherent in creation.

In 2023, we are exploring the theme of Beauty in our journal Faith in Business Quarterly (co-published with the Industrial Christian Fellowship) and our online seminar Faith in Business Monthly.

We now wish to invite you to participate in the Faith in Business 2023 Cambridge Leadership Retreat, entitled Beauty at Work.

Faith in Business’ vision is of business as a force for good, transforming society in a way that expresses the kingdom of God. We encourage and equip Christian business people to be faithful followers of Jesus Christ in a demanding workplace context. With an eye on the future, we are especially committed to serving young business leaders.

Faith in Business is active on many fronts. We run an annual retreat, co-publish a quarterly journal, host a monthly webinar, provide topical weekly reflections and facilitate a business prayer network.
